Friday's South Jersey Girls Basketball Results



Burlington County
Burlington City 55, Maple Shade 53:    The Blue Devils trailed the Wildcats 40-38 heading into the final quarter. Burlington City then outscored Maple Shade 17-13 in the fourth quarter to win. Courtney Davis led all scorers with 27 points for the Blue Devils while teammate Jada Atchinson added 22. For the Wildcats, Brittany Granahan scored 17 and Jill Dombrowski added 13.


Cinnaminson 44, Delran 43: Leading 25-17 at the half, Cinnaminson was able to hold on to win after Delran put together a 16-point third quarter to close the gap to one point. Brittany Runyen led the Pirates with 11 points, including three 3-pointers, and Jaime Campbell added 10. Nicole Bayer led the Bears with 14 points.

Bordentown 42, No. Burlington 40: The Scotties outscored the Greyhounds 10-8 in the final quarter to hold on to victory. Bordentown got 12 points each from Alexis McTamney and Kaylee Creegan, who hit three 3-pointers. Shelby Dolan led the Greyhounds with 10, including two 3-pointers.

Willingboro 58, Burlington Twp. 29: The Chimeras, No. 4 in the Courier-Post Top 10, jumped out to a 16-5 lead and kept going. Micahya Owens led her team with 16 points with Aaliyah Saud-Lewis adding 11 in the win. Taylor Whitney led the  Falcons with 13 points, including three 3-pointers.

Olympic
Camden Catholic 62, Timber Creek 53: The Irish outscored the Chargers 28-10 in the first quarter and stayed  on track to victory. Cara Racobaldo led all scorers with 19 points for the Irish while teammate Julia Braungart added 17 and Sierra Taylor had 14. Desiree Furbert  led Timber Creek with 16.

Tri-County
GCIT 38, Clayton 37: GCIT outscored the Clippers 14-9 in the final quarter to win. Kaymonah Praul led Clayton with 22 points, including three 3-pointers, and six rebounds.

Nonleague
Palmyra 42, Camden Charter 21: Moriah Best led the Panthers with 20 points and 10 rebounds while teammate Sarah Bearnit added 11 points and eight boards. The Panthers took a  29-5 lead into halftime en route to victory. Amy Loyola led Camden Charter with 11 points.

Triton 67, Pennsauken Tech 19: Deja Bullock led all scorers with 21 points for the Mustangs while teammate Randi Fisher added 13 and Samantha Funk had 10 points and 15 rebounds. Dominique Budd had nine assists.

Cumberland 25, Gateway 22: The Colts blanked the Gators 8-0 in the final quarter to win. Katie McCormick led Cumberland with nine points while Megan Crowley led Gateway with seven.

LEAP 34, Lindenwold 16: The Lancers improved their record to 7-3 behind 13 points from Brianna Walker. Briah Carr added seven points and seven rebounds in the win.

Cape-Atlantic
Lower Cape May 48, Oakcrest 25: Madie Gibson scored 13 points for Lower Cape May and teammate Ariel Magee added 10. Kanesha Foster led Oakcrest with 10.

Holy Spirit 74, Absegami 30: Summer Crilley led all scorers with 20 points and Annie Wenz added 16 for the No. 10 Spartans. Eva Sodaitis led the Braves with 14 points.
