This past Saturday the Sterling Swimming Team swam in the South Jersey Coaches Invitational Championship Meet. The meet consisted of 28 teams from all around South Jersey. The knights Placed 4th overall as a team.
Here are some of the results:
For the Girls-
200 Medley relays consisting of Brittany Sims, Erin Green, Ashley Sims, and Lani Gorczynski placed 6th
Ashley Sims-50 free-4th place and 100 Free-5th place
Brittany Sims-6th place-200 IM, 7thplace-100 Backstroke
Erin Green-12th place-100 Breaststroke
200 freestyle relay consisting of Brittany Sims, Nicole Kelly, Lani Gorczynski, and Ashley Sims tied for 6th Place.
On the Boys Side-
Andrew Mottola defended his titles in the 50 and 100 freestyle events placing first in both with new school record times of 21.38 and 47.89. Both of these times ranks him number #1 in south jersey.
Tommy Sheehan-8th place-200 free, 9th place-100 free
Dan DeRemigi-11th place-500 freestyle
200 freestyle relay consisting of Tommy Sheehan, Danny Sheehan, Matt Dieterle, and Andrew Mottola placed 3rd overall.
400 yard freestyle relay consisting of Tommy Sheehan, Dan DeRemigi, Matt Dieterle, and Andrew Mottola placed 3rd overall as well.

Paulo Nascimeto-5th place-50 Backstroke
The Knights next meet will be Tuesday @ 6:15 pm in a divisional meet vs. Cherry Hill West @ Camden County-Vo Tech.
